Taylor Swift is the highest paid female singer for 2016, according to Forbes, which puts her earnings at $170 million.
A major chunk of her earning came from her '1989 World Tour' which began in 2014. It broke the record for Rolling Stone's North American tour. Swift also appeared in commercials for brands like Diet Coke and Apple.
Singer Adele came in second on the list with $80.5 million. Madonna came at number three.
Last year Katy Perry was the highest paid singer.
