Bollywood powerhouse performer Alia Bhatt turned down reports that Pakistani star Ali Zafar has been replaced in her upcoming film, Dear Zindagi, according to Indian media reports.
The rumours were rife that Ali Zafar was being replaced with Indian star Tahir Raj Bhasin in the film that also has Shahrukh Khan in lead, following the tension in relations between the two neighbourly countries and Pakistani stars facing the brunt of it.
Alia was asked the question at the Absolut Elyx Filmfare Glamour and Style cover launch.
She said that no changes will be in the cast and the movie will 'release in its full form'.
Pakistani stars had come under fire after the Uri attack and escalation of violence in Kashmir. Extremist organizations had threatened them to leave India and demanded their movies should not be screened. Karan Johar's 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' had faced most difficulties due to casting of Fawad Khan in main characters.
