Mahira Khan to shoot final scenes for Raees at secret location

Mahira Khan is gearing up to shoot final scenes for her Bollywood debut Raees with co-star Shahrukh Khan at a secret location.

Speculations in the Indian media over the location for the shoot is Abu Dhabi since getting Mahira to India amid rising threats from MNS has been ruled out.

Despite confirmation by the production guild that they will not cast anymore Pakistani actors, filmmaker for Raees claims that only a few final scenes are left and replacing Mahira at this point will mean huge losses. The film is expected to release in January and its team is hoping that tensions between the two countries will simmer down by then.

Karan Johar filmmaker for Pakistani actor Fawad Khan starrer Ae Dil Hai Mushkil gave into extremist MNS threatening the release of his movie. After a meeting with its chief Raj Thackeray he vowed not to cast any Pakistani actors in the future and donate Rs 50 million to the army welfare fund.
