The group exhibit called U-Turn showcases unconventional media, surfaces and out-of-the-box concepts of eight emerging artists who have chosen to explore, experiment and differ unlike the linear pattern of creation followed by most.
A graphic designer and illustrator, the Indus Valley graduate Sana Nasir uses acrylic and spray-paint etching on wood exploring a new medium for the very first time.
On the other hand, multi-disciplinary artist Sara Paganwala works for the show includes experimentation with resin, a medium she has never used before.
Being an educator pursuing her passion for fibre art, Curator Samina Islam reveals she has always been fascinated with varying steps and stages of creative process.
According to Samina, providing art journals alongside their artworks, the artists have created a unique and rare experience for the audience.
Opening on October 4th, U-Turn is to continue till the 11th of this month.
