Saba Qamar's first film in Bollywood with actor Irrfan Khan has not come to a standstill, according to some media reports.
The reports that quoted the Bollywood actor's spokesperson stated that it has not been shelved for indefinite time period due to raised tensions between two neighbouring countries.
The official statement from the actor's side stated that the reports about delay are false as Irrfan Khan has already completed filming the project.
The news about Saba landing a role in Bollywood movie surfaced earlier this year in April.
"It's a family-oriented story of a husband and wife. It has a young, fresh vibe and the wife is a little dominating. People will surely like it," Qamar had said talking to a local newspaper.
"The film is a little like that Deepika film, Piku," she had added.
Both Saba Qamar and Irrfan Khan have made their mark in their respective industries and have garnered much applause for their work. Saba recently shined as Madam Noor Jahan in Sarmad Khoosat's Manto while Irfan Khan shared screen space with Deepika Padukone in Piku.
