The case of the (late) Jiah Khan has turned up new evidences which suggest that the suicide was staged.
Jiah Khan's mother, Rabia Khan, is still fighting to get justice for her daughter and continues to file petitions of her daughter's death being a murder instead of a suicide as it was thought to be. She recently took the help of a British forensic expert, Jason Payne-James and the reports reveal that the mark on the lower lip of Jiah's body (which initially was considered to be friction of the teeth) is now thought to be a result of a fight or a wound.
Not only that, marks on her neck according to the reports, seem to be too precise to be caused by a dupatta and inidcate it to be a much more well-defined ligature mark.
A few months ago, the court had dismissed Rabia's appeal and was continuing with the charges of abetment to suicide against the accused Sooraj Pancholi.
Though the reports reveal these shocking facts, it is still unclear whether the forensic expert's opinion will be admissible in court since it has been done in a private foreign lab although some people believe that it is possible it might be accepted.
However Rabia has decided to approach these findings to the court with her lawyer Dinesh Tiwari.
