Social media has become a source of many innovative ideas that were never thought possible, given how it connects celebrities from the comfort of their homes and interact with fans and the world.

Recently, when Bollywood star icon Shah Rukh Khan on his Twitter account revealed that he was unaware of Netflix's 2016 detective mystery Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, the TV show's executive producer Arvind Ethan David couldn't contain his excitement.
Amazing to discover that @iamsrk is a #dirkgently fan. Come guest star in #Season2 https://t.co/XoIYVnSHb4

The B-world's romance king was then, in the happy exchange of tweets, offered a guest role by David.
Let me know the time and place. Will figure out my own accommodation! https://t.co/epmqhSQDIx

And SRK accepted it!
It's possible I got a bit too excited that #ShahRukhKhan likes #dirkgently -- do you think he noticed?

Needless to say, the conversation was thrilling for both Khan's admirers and David himself too.
Done and done! https://t.co/URcWq9zG2q

Finally, a deal was made, albeit just on social media for now. David then went on to express his surprise at how celebrity talk travels so fast around the world.
The sci-fi series, which takes inspiration from Douglas Adams' 1987 namesake book, centres around a murder that leads two strangers to come together during an investigation, which prompts a slew of supernatural activities. It Samuel Barnett, Osric Chau, Mackenzie Gray, and Elijah Wood.
