Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, who recently made her Bollywood debut in Raees, shared with her fans what she was not able to do on the sets of the movie on social media.
In the video uploaded by the actress on Instagram, Mahira can be seen swaying in a field of (what appears to be) rapeseed (canola) in slow motion.
In the caption she writes, "#cheapthrills what we couldn't do in Raees!"
The image automatically strikes a chord with Bollywood buffs, who may remember the scenery from the much-loved Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge when Raj finally meets Simran in India.
This is not the first time the actress has shared her love for Bollywood. During movie promotions for Raees, she remarked that she was expecting her co-star Shah Rukh Khan to strike his patent arms wide open pose for her.
Raees, which was constantly embroiled in controversies, made a decent run on the box office. However, the movie was not released in Pakistan as it portrayed Muslims in a negative light according to the Censor Board. Before that, the movie was in limelight because of the Indian ban on Pakistani actors after the Uri attacks.
