Veteran Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar was hospitalised on Tuesday after he complained of fever and swelling in his right leg.
The legendary actor, who will be celebrating his 94th birthday on December 11, was admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital where he is under observation.
Talking to Bombay Times, the actor's wife Saira Banu said, "The doctors are examining him; he's under observation. He's very comfortable with the team here. I just hope there is nothing serious. Inshallah, I will take him home before his birthday on Sunday."
Dilip Kumar was also hospitalised earlier this year for high fever.
The actor, born as Mohammad Yusuf Khan, is known for his films such as Devdas, Mughal-e-Azam, Ganga Jamuna and Naya Daur, among others.
