Bollywood royalty Saif Ali Khan's daughter, Sara Ali Khan, is set to follow in her parents' footsteps with the movie Kedarnath.
She will be starring alongside Sushant Singh Rajput in the story about a rich girl falling in love with a tour escort in the backdrop of the Uttarkhand floods in India.
The first look of Sara starring in the movie was released recently and it has got everyone talking about not only how stunning she looks but her stark resemblance with her mother, actress Amrita Singh.
Sara is the daughter of Saif and Amrita, Saif's first wife.
The film's shooting in the mountainous areas was recently wrapped up and the news was broken by director Abhishek Kapoor on Instagram.
Sharing the team's experience of shooting in the mountains of Uttarakhand Himalayas, Kapoor stated: "It's been an incredible schedule, exhausting and exhilarating, shooting in the mountains is never easy especially when it's on a yatra and the weather changes constantly but thankfully the mountain God has blessed our shoot and it's wrapped as per schedule."
Kedarnath is expected to release in June 2018.
Concerned father
When Saif was asked about his daughter's big Bollywood debut last month, the actor mentioned to Mid-Day, "I am concerned for her, which is pretty normal for any father. But, I wouldn't say I am nervous because I am not living vicariously through her."
"What worries me is the kind of relationships she is going to have. Or for that matter, how she will deal with failure — will she get upset and cry about them? These are things that niggle at me," Saif continued.
However, he expressed pleasure that her daughter is pursuing her dreams. "I'm happy Sara is doing something she is passionate about.
