India captain Virat Kohli has reignited rumours of his (impending?) marriage with Bollywood diva Anushka Sharma, who he has been in a relationship with for the past four years.
Reports emerged earlier that the skipper had requested BCCI for time off from his cricket schedule in December this year, citing 'personal reasons'.
That was enough to set the rumour mill abuzz, as fans speculated that Kohli was preparing for a winter wedding with Anushka.
However, when asked about the speculated December wedding, the talent agency which manages Anushka's career told Indian media that "these are just rumours doing the rounds. No truth to it."
Sources inside the cricket circle also said that the captain had asked for time off since it has been a hectic calendar for him already.
Kohli is publicly expressive about his affection for Anushka, sharing snaps from their time together on social media platforms on numerous occasions.
The two also recently appeared in an adorable TV commercial together for a clothing brand, where they exchanged wedding vows.
So when's the wedding? It's anybody's guess at the moment.
