Jon Snow and Ygritte's romance on the hit TV show 'Game of Thrones' may not have had a happy ending, but the couple are rocking it in real-life and a wedding may not be that far off.
Kit Harington has finally proposed to his long-time girlfriend Rose Leslie and the couple are already planning their wedding, reports US publication Life & Style, quoting an unnamed source who revealed details of the proposal.
"Kit recently cooked Rose a romantic candlelight dinner and proposed to her," the source said. "She burst into tears and immediately said yes!"
The couple, who met on the set of the HBO fantasy series, also recently purchased a medieval 15th century house in the English countryside for $1.9 million.
Rose, who lived in a castle in Aberdeenshire, Scotland during her childhood, "wants the wedding to be held there," the source revealed. "It will be a traditional Scottish wedding with kilts and bagpipes. They aren't into the whole Hollywood scene at all."
Kit had spoken about his relationship with Rose at the season seven premiere for Game Of Thrones in Los Angeles last week.
"I think that's the really special thing about it is that we met on this show and here we are seven years down the line back here promoting season seven," he had said on the red carpet.
"I mean it's mad. It's such a special thing. I'm so privileged," he had said, adding that he and Rose were "very, very happy."
Forget about the White Walkers, GoT fans. Time to start looking forward to a Winter Wedding!
