Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra are Bollywood aces which haven't led their fans down whether it is by performance or standing out in the entertainment industry. For the very reason, the two — which haven't been starred opposite each other since a while — managed to make it to Variety's 500 'influential business leaders shaping the global $2 trillion entertainment industry'.
The two were named in the prestigious list among other influential Indians, according to a Bollywood Life report. Those included filmmakers Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra, producers Sidharth Roy Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, Anil and Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Essel Group – Dr Subhash Chandra, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Zee Entertainment Enterprises – Punit Goenka, Kishore Lulla and Uday Shankar.
The publication has separately mentioned achievements of both the actors. For Salman, Variety tweeted on his contribution to the industry, lauding his performance as a main actor for decades.
The tweet, which has a link embedded of the article mentioning Salman's work, pointed out his charity work too, especially naming his Being Human foundation.
When it came to Pee Cee — who happens to be much younger in the field compared to the veteran actor sharing the list — the publication gushed over her success both in the home industry and abroad. The actress has managed to prove her mettle in Hollywood as well, starting with her series Quantico which has been renewed for a third season.
Pee Cee is not only a charming and successful actress, she is also at par with other renowned actors in the field of charity. The diva is a global UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for Child Rights and actively partakes in charitable activities.
The two seems to have rightly claimed their spot in the prestigious list. As for Priyanka, it will be another feather in her cap to flaunt at such an age.
